Finding a Way In – Making Everyday Activities Easier and More Meaningful

Sometimes an activity that was once familiar becomes harder to begin, follow, or complete. That does not necessarily mean the interest, knowledge, or ability is gone. The person may simply need a different invitation, a clearer setup, or another way to participate.

Montessori-inspired engagement begins with the person’s strengths, interests, familiar roles, and remaining abilities. By adjusting how an activity is offered and supported, everyday moments can become opportunities for choice, contribution, purpose, and connection.
