Connection Café

A warm, welcoming space for care partners to connect, reflect, and feel supported, while loved ones spend time nearby with volunteers in conversation and meaningful engagement.

This is at the heart of what we do. Many support groups require care partners to arrange separate care before they can participate. Connection Café was created differently. While care partners gather together, individuals living with cognitive change are welcomed into a nearby space where they can still see familiar faces, feel connected, and engage at their own comfort level.

Volunteers offer conversation, music, art, games, and meaningful moments of connection, while care partners have an opportunity to talk openly, listen, reflect, and simply breathe a little.

Registration is requested.

Living Well as Life's Patterns Change

An exclusive small group for individuals experiencing mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or early cognitive changes, a place to connect with others walking a similar journey, share perspectives, and feel understood by people who truly “get it.”

Together, the group explores ways to support well-being, navigate changes, share practical strategies, and continue living with meaning, purpose, and connection.

Conversations are welcoming, supportive, and grounded in the belief that life can still hold joy, growth, relationships, and possibility as things change.

Our shared model

The whole family is welcome in the room.

You don’t have to leave the person you care for behind to get support. They come with you. They’re welcomed, included, and given something meaningful to do — while you’re given the space to be cared for.

It is a subtle thing. It is also the thing that makes The Kaleidoscope work.

A new community is being formed in lives where there was none before. If I had a nickel for every time someone has expressed joy at finding they were not the only ones on this journey, my pockets would be bursting.— Rev. Keith Moody

If you've been wondering whether to come, come.

The first step is the hardest one to take. Almost everyone who walks through our door tells us they wish they had come sooner. There is no shame in dementia — and there is no judgment here.

If you've been wondering whether to come, come.

There is a place for you here.
